Hop into Spring: A Peter Rabbit Baby Shower

I just love when spring begins. Flowers blooming, blue skies, a little more warmth, and new beginnings. I was so excited to design the paper for a Peter Rabbit baby shower for all of those reasons. And I love a spring color palette! Soft and beautiful warm grays, mint, and blue are a perfect combination for the occasion. We also crafted some sweet sipping straws, food tent cards, baby book stickers and favor labels (not shown) for the shower. Keep in mind we love doing day-of paper pieces to complete the party! Don't stop at just the invitation!

A First Birthday Honey Brunch!

I thought this was the cutest idea I'd heard in awhile. My client wanted to have a "honey brunch" in honor of her sweet 1 year old baby bumble bee. So sweet! Literally!

New Custom Birth Announcements!

We've been busy busy (what's new?) and wanted to share some birth announcements we've worked on the past few months. I feel so honored when asked to design these, I love the chance to make something so personal for each family and little one.
I was so excited when a former co-worker of mine asked me to design her little girl's birth announcement. And I'm obsessed with her name...Sweet little Cora Elizabeth. I have been saving this beautiful Japanese crane patterned paper for the perfect project, and thought it would be perfect for the liners on the pale blush envelopes. The announcements are printed front and back, with Cora's name and birthday details on the front, and the back includes her little monogram.

Jennifer has been a friend of mine since sixth grade, and I was thrilled when she married a boy from our graduating class (Jason) and they a precious baby boy. I'm so happy to work with Jennifer and Jason and help announce Mr. James. Jennifer wanted the announcement to be simple, and photography-based. The kraft envelopes are one of my favorites, and I love the verse she chose for the bottom.

Pam and I met through mutual friends, and asked for a custom monogram to be included on Mr. Harrison's announcement, along with multiple pictures (photography credit: Morgan Trinker). I loved the color of his little blanket in the picture on the back, and we let that shape the color scheme of mint and gray. A classic monogrammed announcement...you can't go wrong!

Frogs Snails and Puppy Dog Tails!

Everyone knows what sweet little boys are made of right? These invitations were designed for a very special client, and we were thrilled when we heard the theme of the shower. With a color scheme of greens, aquas, and navy, we paired the invite with a kraft envelope. These are now available on our Etsy Shop! To purchase, just click here!

Sprinkle that Baby!

The first baby gets showered, the second (or third, or fourth, and so on) gets sprinkled! This invite is a must for the special day. To purchase, visit our Etsy site!

A Sweet Baby Boy is on the Way!

So 10 years ago this week, I moved into my freshman dorm at Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!) and felt the same anxiety I think every freshman feels living away from home for the first time. I went potluck, and it was probably the best decision I made when kicking off my college career. And here's why...the two girls in the room next to mine would become my life-long friends. The friends I would live with my junior and senior year. The friends I'd spend countless hours with laughing and experiencing the best time of my life. Allison is one of those girls. And by Labor Day Weekend, she will be a mother...so crazy but so beautiful. I was there the night she and her husband Jared met at one of our favorite hangouts in Auburn. I stood by her side when they said "I Do," and now I'll be "Aunt Jessi" to sweet baby Riggs. We threw Allison a baby shower in July and I couldn't wait to post the invitations designed for the big day, along with Rigg's personal stationery...This baby boy is going to be so loved!

NEW! Baby Shower Invites for a Best Friend!

Hello! Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! Today I'm sharing something that is truly special! One of my best friends has a sweet baby girl on the way, and I had the honor of designing the invitations for the shower! Britney and I were room mates in college (she's our girl in purple in the pic below...)

The theme of the shower was "Baby Bee and Mommy-to-Bee." Britney's nursery is whites, neutrals, and gold, which I love. I found a patterned paper with metallic marigolds and cut liners for the envelopes. The invite was tied with metallic gold twine with a date tag, and I made cards for guests to write "Sweet" words for Britney and baby Grayson, which was bundled with the invite.

So with a Baby Bee theme, what's a better favor than little jars of honey? We found miniature jars and filled them with sweet Georgia honey, and I made matching "Sweet Treat" tags and tied them with the gold twine.

For Britney's gift, I (of course) gave her stationery so she could say "thank you" to her guests in style! The cards are flocked with a GB monogram in gold and taupe, and the envelopes (my favorite!) have the same monogram wrapping from front to back with a return address.

Build-a-Library Baby Shower Invitations

I got a new camera for my birthday! (can you tell??) So hopefully moving forward, I'll be using photography as much as possible...Anywho, I was asked to design baby shower invitations for a friend recently, and the idea of the shower was to build the baby's library with sweet bedtime stories and favorites of the mommy-to-be (as well as friends and family). The entire shower is library themed, and for the invite, I thought it would be great to incorporate the library card-&-pocket style with a due date card. Also, I designed bookplate labels for guests to stick on the inside of each book so the baby (eventually toddler, kindergartener, and so on) would know which special someone the book came from. I used a monogram for the baby on the plates and the silver pocket on the invitation, and would also carry over for additional pieces at the party, and possibly thank you notes after the shower. Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

A Shower for Baby Violet

A coworker of mine is having a baby soon, and she is naming her sweet baby girl Violet...adorable. The gals at work are throwing a fabulous baby shower for her and I'd thought I'd share my contribution...Invitations of course! As well as a little notecard for guests to write messages for Violet. They are 4 x 6, and will fit in an album to keep them all together.

Itchy eyes...Runny nose...

But the flowers look beautiful! So I've posted some floral designs to get spring kicked off right! I think I can suffer through the pollen if it means warm weather!
